Bio:

Mayo Pujols is currently Chief Technical Officer at Rocket Pharmaceuticals, a gene therapy company focused on developing cures for rare diseases.  Mayo has over three decades of experience, including more than five years of exclusive focus on cell and gene therapy.  Over his career, Mayo has held leadership roles at multiple pharmaceutical companies including Novartis, Merck, MedImmune, Celgene, and Schering-Plough, in areas such as, manufacturing, technical development, quality operations, supply chain, project management, and validation. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Andelyn Biosciences, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) affiliated with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where he led their expansion into a full-service gene therapy CDMO.
